This compact Network Attached Storage external disk enclosure is the ideal solution for offices, small businesses and home users who need access to a shared hard drive.
Designed to sit underneath a Mac Mini, the Mini NAS Enclosure can also be used with any other Mac or PC. It's compatible with standard 3.5" SATA / IDE hard drives and allows LAN users to easily backup data and share files via an intranet or the internet. Set up and operation is simple and straightforward. A built-in USB 2.0 port allows it to be used as a regular external hard drive.

4 Different Setup Options
- As a DHCP Client
If the enclosure operates under a built-in DHCP server router (e.g. Internet Sharing Hub), it will obtain an IP address from the DHCP server automatically
- As a DHCP Server
If your operating environment does not support a DHCP server, the enclosure will immediately act as a DHCP server and assign an IP address for installation
- In a Static IP Environment
If your operating environment supports static IP addresses you can configure the enclosure's IP address to operate in a static IP environment
- USB 2.0 Mode
Simply connect the enclosure to a USB port on your computer using the supplied cable; it will operate as a standard external drive enclosure
