FireWire Extenders

Our FireWire Extender range provides versatile solutions for long distance FireWire connections. Long length FireWire cables typically max out at 10m (although the recommended maximum length is 4.5m). Our FireWire Active Extension Cable provides an additional 4.5m connection for your FireWire device and can be daisy chained to up to 45m; our FireWire 800 Active Extension Cable proves an additional 5m and can be daisy chained up to 50m! For even longer distances our CAT5 FireWire Exender makes use of low cost CAT/6 patch cable to achieve distances of up to an amazing 75m!
