Removable RAID Back Plane System for 5 SAS / SATA Drives
The SATA RAID Back Plane system is an internal drive housing that supports five SAS / SATA hard Drives. It can be installed into any suitable PC case or expansion system which has three 5.25" half-height drive bays available. The system is ideal for servers or workstations, allowing instant hot-swap access to the hard drives.
The Back Plane features a unique connection mechanism which allows the drives to be mounted directly into the back plane without the need for a separate caddy. A special 'no-scratch' connector protects the drive contacts and is tested to exceed over 10,000 insertions and ejections.
- Allows up to five 3.5" SAS / SATA 1.0a or II hard drives to be installed into three standard 5.25" half-height drive bays
