LINDY now offers the latest in KVM switching technology with the ability to control up to 4 PCs (with multiple monitor support for up to 4 monitors) from a single location.
PCs with multiple monitors are becoming increasingly popular as they allow much more information to be displayed simultaneously. This greatly improves the users operating environment and efficiency as software/information can be split over several screens eliminating the need to flick between different windows. With the Multiscreen switches you are no longer limited to PCs with single video output. Many of the advanced features found in other high end switches are incorporated into this design.
- 2 or more Multiscreens may be syncronously switched by linking their control ports
- Switch 2, 4, 8, 12 or 16 monitors together by syncronising Multiscreens
- Continuous keyboard and mouse emulation on all ports ensures problem free computer bootup
- Interface powered operation - draws its power from the connected computers for maximum convenience
- Intelligent switching feature enables users to switch between all ports or just the active ports
- Supports high bandwidth monitors at resolutions up to 1900 x 1440 with excellent video transfer characteristic - high bandwidth and low distortion
- Mixed AT & PS/2 keyboards and PS/2 & RS-232 mice supported as standard
- Flash upgradeable - firmware can be upgraded by connecting the switch to a computer's serial port and running a download program (requires additional cable)
- Can be cascaded to provide a video switching network
- Video channels support Display Data Control (DDC1/DDC2) signaling
- Supports LINDY mice, Microsoft IntelliMouse, Logitech Firstmouse+, MouseMan+ and other wheel mice
- Channel switching by front panel key, keyboard hotkey or 3 button mouse
- Automatically restores keyboard and mouse states when channel changed
- Can be controlled remotely by an RS-232 serial port
