The LINDY CPU Switch Quad View is a fully featured KVM switch which supports the simultaneous display of up to 4 video sources on a single monitor. The four video signals can be displayed in a quadrant view or picture-in-picture (PIP). The switch supports both analogue and digital video signals via DVI-I connections and allows computer keyboard and mouse connections via a USB or PS/2 interface.

Typical areas of application of the CPU Switch Quad View are in control rooms, process control centres, server farms etc.

The advanced design of the CPU Switch Quad View supports 3 viewing modes: Quad Screen, Picture-in Picture (PIP) and Full Screen.


In Quad Screen mode, the screen is split into four fields of equal size with the entire screen content of a video source or computer being displayed in each of these fields. Keyboard and mouse operation can be used to select the corresponding computer.


In PIP mode, the full screen display of one of the four video sources is accompanied by up to three small images (thumbnails) containing the other video sources on the right-hand margin of the screen.


In Full Screen mode, one of the four computers video sources is displayed in full screen size and at maximum resolution.
