Applications
This module may be used with stand-alone PCs, workstations, servers or external enclosures. Examples of applications include:
- Maintenance - replacing defective hard drives
- Transporting data between PCs

- Off site data backup
- One hard drive can be used as a backup device for several PCs
- Multiple operating systems running on a single PC
- Students or families wishing to share a single PC amongst each other without the worry of unauthorized or accidental access to their data
Note: To ensure efficient cooling when installing a removable module in a 5.25" bay, the bottom of the unit should be covered to allow effective air flow along the Hard Drive. Ideally the module should be mounted directly above the CD/DVD drive.
