FireWire 800 is a high speed communication interface, capable of speeds of up to 800Mbit/sec (IEEE1394b). Upgrade your PC or add additional high speed ports to your Mac with this PCI "Plug & Play" card. Connect FireWire products such as Digital Video (DV) Camera, Digital Camera, Scanner, External Storage units, etc.
- Installs into either a 32-bit or 64-bit PCI expansion slot (Note: 32-bit PCI supports up to 400Mbit/sec; for 800Mbit/sec performance the card must be installed into a 64-bit PCI slot)
- 64-bit/33MHz and 32-bit/33MHz fully compliant PCI-host interface
- Card Connectors: 2 x External FireWire 800 (IEEE1394b) 9 Pin Female Ports; 1 x External FireWire (IEEE1394a) 6 Pin Port
- Speed: Up to 800Mbit/sec (IEEE1394b); up to 400Mbit/sec (IEEE1394a)
