Connector Lock (6mm Thumbscrew Height) for Premium Gold High Speed HDMI Range (Part No's 37410 to 37415)
Unlike DVI and VGA connectors which feature thumbscrews for attaching cables, standard HDMI cables lack any means of creating a secure connection to a display, projector, wall plate or other device.
The LINDY HDMI Cat 2 Connector Lock is an innovative solution developed to overcome this limitation. Designed to be used in conjunction with our Premium Gold High Speed HDMI cables only (Part No's 37410 to 37415). The Connector Lock is manufactured from a high quality thermoplastic polymer which, when warm, easily slips over the HDMI connector and forms a tight fit as it cools down. A built-in thumbscrew then allows the cable to be secured to one of our HDMI face plates or a suitably equipped HDMI device. (See below for more information)

Designed to be used in conjunction with our Premium Gold HDMI cables*, the Connector Lock is manufactured from a high quality thermoplastic polymer which, when warm, easily slips over the HDMI connector and forms a tight fit as it cools down. A built-in thumbscrew then allows the cable to be secured to one of our HDMI face plates or a suitably equipped HDMI device. This gives you a extra secure connection to ensure the cable connection does not become loose.
Fitting the Connector Lock to a Premium Gold HDMI cable is simply a matter of warming it up for a few seconds – just long enough to allow it slip over the hood. To do this you can use a hair dryer, room heater or simply by rubbing it between your hands.
You can also use the Connector Lock with HDMI devices which have a suitably positioned fixing screw. In this instance, simply replace the device‘s fixing screw with the supplied hex nut and attach the Connector Lock to it. Please note: this connector lock is for use with devices which feature a fixing screw approximately 6mm above the HDMI port.
