5m FireWire 800 Active Extension Cable
The LINDY FireWire 800 Active Extension Cable allows you to extend the cable length of your FireWire 800 devices by an extra 5m. Ideal for use with DV Camcorders, printers, scanners, cameras etc. To use, simply plug one end of the Active Extension Cable into a FireWire 800 port on your computer and then plug the cable from your device into the other end. For longer distances you can connect up to 10 Extension Cables together for a maximum length of 50m!
- FireWire Repeater Cable for extending the cable length between FireWire devices over distances greater than the IEEE 1394b specified limit of 4.5m
- Up to 10 extension cables can be connected for a maximum distances of 50m (at the longer distances your FireWire device must be self-powered)
